Oh, right, the bike.

Forgot to mention that we did our preliminary bike shopping and determined that I want a “comfort bike” and Mark wants a “road bike.”

New prices: $350 and $620, respectively.

Scouring the used market and trying to determine if we can pick up a secondhand bike that’s in decent shape ($100 - $150) and still make our mortgage payment. Money is tight, but the weather is so nice that it’s awfully tempting to throw caution to the wind and hope for the best.

Hooray! You will love it - you won’t even believe how much you’ll love it :) It will make such a positive difference. Next step, bike trailer - think about biking to the grocery, then strapping M in to the trailer, throwing the groceries in the “trunk” and biking home. Mark might even be able to quickly bike up to the grocery for that random bag of sugar here and there!

Check it out for bike sharing. They have chickens too.

Kai and I love our new sling! It fits wonderfully and super easy to slip on and off.
